Key Account Manager
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Reports to: Chief Business Officer
Role Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Key Account Manager to oversee and manage relationships with our key clients in Nigeria. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and expanding strategic partnerships, essential for the organization's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with key clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify client needs, propose tailored solutions, and explore new business opportunities.
  • Drive sales performance and achieve revenue targets through direct sales channels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to ensure service excellence and goal alignment.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and provide strategic insights and feedback to senior management.
  • Prepare detailed business plans for both current and prospective clients.
  • Manage and track key account pipelines, agreements, and performance metrics.



Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in key account management, strategic sales, or partnerships.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Strong strategic thinking, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
  • Experience in sustainability, clean energy, or impact-driven sectors.
  • Familiarity with contract review and partnership management tools.
